Well composed but as Ray says the lighting is a bit off.
Very hard to get a high contrast scene like the black plumage against white background properly exposed of course.

Wietse,
Good capture, but seems a bit contrastry to me, not much detail in bird's face.
Contrast like this is a problem in snow images, especially in bright sun.
Took the libery of lighting up the bird a bit in PS.
