Kita, (love your name by the way!), i think this is the coolest color and the playing with shapes and line is very innovative..unfortunately, i?m at work and have a crappy monitor that shows color bands where there arn?t any, so i will imagine that the frame is band free. It reminds me a bit of a portal window on a ship coming in to dock and the first glimpse someone might see of an exotic port of call...i know, i know, that takes some imagining but this is where your image is taking me so it?s not MY fault!
Anyway, thanks for your comments on Bird1. You asked about the history brush. Well, i couldn?t live without that sucker. That button (in PS7) has two tools, one of which i do not understand at all, but the history brush tool part is pretty straightforward. It essentially restores what was on the original image before you went and mucked it up. Say you apply levels to an image and you?re like, ohmigod, now that one little highlight is blown, should i undo the action, select around that highlight, feather the selection and adjust levels all over again? Or should i arduously clone the color back in from some other part of the image? Nope, use the history brush at whatever size and opacity you think you need to restore what you lost. In this sense it?s like an eraser. You can set it to whatever blend mode you want because sometimes you might want to restore the tone but not the color, or the original texture but not as dark. Whatever. And there?s the whole range of brush strokes too. That?s all i did in Bird1 and also Voyeur. i applied an over all filter that obscured the image, then i brought it back in pieces and strokes and broad swathes using different brush strokes and blending modes. Maybe you?re a whiz with layers. i am not. So the history brush helps me a lot. Take care..and best regards: kat-

Interesting curves and lines accentuated by the angle used, but of course it's the wonderful presentation which is so eyecatching.

Augh!
