I like the colors here and the texture of the blue fabric, I too would have liked the knot to be a little bit sharper. At first I didn't like the string much but it would look funny wihtout it and it just adds "somethin"

thanks all for your comments.
Aiman, I have to admit to wanting more dof too - I think ducky is a little bit past the main focus poiint. Its hard to tell though with the rubbery material. I was happy with the tilt though :)
I was doing this as a light experiment really - got to start simple!

I can't find the "eyecatch" :)

I like the contrast, the dof (may be a little more would have been better IMO) and I think it is tad tilted (propably you wanted that effect)

nice shot

Mmmmm. Blue and yellow. Yummy. I know, it's a weird response but what can I say? It's what I thought. The colors are fantastic. I wonder if it would be better with a 3/4 profile rather than straight on. The red string is perfect. Without it, I'd wonder what that thing on the top of his head was. With it, it makes sense and brings in another bright color.

What's funny is that I have a duck that I was going to do some lighting tests on, very simiilar to this.

Great colors and contrast here. I like how you've captured the texture of the fabric on which the duck sits. My only quibble might be with the DOF. I think it might have been a bit stronger had the knot to the right of the duck been sharper. However, this is really good work.
