Rebecca, this is very nice work. The strict lines of the two buildings, with the large sky area, give me an impression that this is a very lonely, secluded place. But then the mirror with the reflection comes into play to show that the location is an ordinary city street. It is this combination of unrevealing detail and a 'bigger picture' that makes this photo very interesting to me.

Must investigate this and you're right about skies. Makes it easier to simplify the picture. I'm just waiting for some more blue ones at the moment.

I have 2 different photo shops...I use Adobe Photo Deluxe home edition. I haven't tried the 6.0 yet, just now getting into this. I use the extensis framing, and fade it down. I liked the look. You can change it to any color or shade. It's simple, or I couldn't do it. Thanks for taking time to comment :)

This is two pictures! Did you do the shading around the edge? it's a nice effect and it's good to see you've found somewhere else to walk!
Reminds me of a picture I saw in a gallery recently using a car mirror.
