Ha - you fell for it! You photographed the dummy bird. Meanwhile the real bird was off eating a delectable seafood dinner without being disturbed by annoying photographers. Clever, these birds! Just be critical, and since I all ready got nailed on this earlier this week..you could have used a tad more room behind the decoy's behind as Bob has already pointed out. - John
As much as I like your images Eric, I am not a fan of this one.
It had possibilities, but IMO you suld not have cut the tail off from the decoy, it needed a relector or fill on the left side of the head, and there are a couple of white circles directly above its head whichI find distracting.
I really like the OOF foreground. That was a cool idea, and adds a nice depth.
