I'm very particular about photographs of water in motion--but it's hard to think how this one could have been improved on. The water is not artifically "frozen" nor is it unrealistically smoothed out... just sufficiently blurred to indicate it really was moving. I love the contrast between the stone surfaces and the water. Strong composition, too. I've been away for a week: this was nice to come back to.

is this a real oasis? It must be amazing if it is I love it when naturer throws up the opposite. Like in NZ at the top of a snow covered mountain there will be a hot spring...Good pic Antonella and even better to be there...love roger

Antonella,
Lovely textures and colors- it must be quite inviting to come to this place when travelling through the desert.
Yes, it has been very cold here, but not enough snow for my taste (we are supposed to get 6-12 inches starting tonight). Friday morning I'll be leaving to go camping in the mountains of New Hampshire for 3 days with some friends. That's when I'll REALLY need you to send me warm thoughts.
Hope all is well with you.
Hugs, David

Great composition. I like the shutterspeed on the water, gives it a very fast and moving effect.

A lovely picture, you can just wonder what caused the large concentric worn circle to the left. Makes me thirsty. Regards, Rob.

Wonderfull photo. There are not much colours in the play, but that is just good, becose in this picture you don't need vivid colours! Where was this oasis?? Greets, Lex

Antonella, a beautiful composition. I just wander how would it look like with a bit more of DoF? It just seems that the bushes under the waterfall are a bit out of focus. Was it intentional? Regards, Tomasz
