Kevin, I see I'm not the only one for whom over-sharpening halos rather spoil the effect. Are you sure Usefilm is not adding extra sharpening? Altaf is on record as saying that dpi settings other than 72dpi will trigger additional compression and sharpening and my guess is you neither need nor want it. Your heavy reliance on PS and your great expertise with it suggest that this is not something you are directly responsible for. Though please forgive me if the halo effect is a deliberate part of your visual style. For me, the lonely trees are beautifully accented by that distinctive violet colour and the very subtle gradation. It may not be "real" but it certainly looks good.

Kevin nicely put together and nice colours, but if you are going to put in a new sky make sure you get rid of that halo effect around your trees and horizon.It draws your eye straight to it. all the best Barry
