Very lovely. I too, saw the moon the other day but did not have my camera with me. I can't carry it in to work with me ( security issues) and afraid to leave them in the truck. Great shot!

I took the picture 'reaching for the moon' at had approximately 3 PM in the afternoon yesterday(sunday)at my mothers house in eastern Pennsylvania.. this was the first time I was ever able to get a decent picture of the moon! my new Minolta A1, five megapixel digital camera has the new anti-shake technology! I turned the lens all the way out to 200 mm and set the f-stop at f-11, set the main dial to aperture priority, aimed and took the shot..I was surprised it came out as good as it did.. thanks for your lovely comments my friends, regards jon

Een impossible thing but... the way you captured the moon, makes it almost withing reach, as if I can stretch my hand and touch it.

Jon,this amazes me ! When did you take this? I shot my picture of branch and moon yesterday. There has been so many times that somebody has posted almost the same image that I had just been contemplating or already shot. Just yesterday I had shot a pic of my son and worked a bit with it to crop so just his eyes would be shown, and shortly I saw posted practically the same thing. Our titles are even so close. Funny :)....I'm glad I beat you by minutes..........Randy
