I like this a lot, mostly because it reminds me of Escher's _Three Worlds_ (you just need a fish swimming around in there!). I'm usually not a fan of grainy photos, but I think it works well here. I wish the weeds were a little sharper, but other than that, I find this a great abstract. Very unique.

Well Andrew,there is no complicated theme in this pic.It is just what the caption says--a pattern.The pond weeds(VERY common sight in rural Bengal) against the reflection of the palm trees caught my eyes and I thought a tight cropping may give an interesting pic.

I like the contrast and tonality of the picture and think the seed pods (I think thats what they are) add a great deal of texture. However, I'm a bit at a loss to discern what I'm looking at thematically. Help me out and tell me what I'm supposed to see here. I'm not intending to be negative when I say this, just trying to understand what is driving this composition.
