Tim, thanks for the quibbling, that's what we are here for. I do agree with you and perhaps a somewhat different treatment of the sky would take care of the noise. I had a little problem with this one as the horizon had a severe tilt and I lost lots of side detail due to straightening resultant crop. I did experiment with tighter crop on top, but just could not seem to get what I was looking for, losing proportion. Thanks for your useful comment, looking forward to hearing from you again, Cary

Nice capture Cary. I especially like the contrast of detail in the foreground and midrange against the dismal sky. The noise in the sky is a bit disconcerting though, and a tighter crop on top would bring the focus more firmly to the snow and rocks. Still, just quibbling. Well done. -Tim
