Ok, I know these are just dominos, but I used them for my 5-Feb-2004 photo of the day in my project: Photo-A-Day:

I decided to experiment with light and long shutter exposures. this is a 6 second exposue.
I set the dominos up, started the shot...after 2 seconds (to insure they are sharp, while standing) i blew on them to make the cascade/fall......then in last 2 seconds of the 6, it captured them sharply laying down. if you look closely (especially on the left) you can see the white trace lines of them falling hahahaha. :)
Normally it takes me 10-15 shots to get one...for this..only 1 shot (because I really put thought into it prior to shooting)! Only digital alterations was to frame.....the rest is as captured. :)
Canon 10D Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM f/22 @ 6 seconds Used black posterboard, and a single halogen mini-lamp (the type you can clip to a table) as only light. -- Rodney :)
