Matej,
I don't think this one is necessarily the best of the San Francisco series although I do rather like it... that tree bothers me too. I put up panoramas 1200 pixels wide (or high) at www.fujirangefinder.com, in the folder called, ahem, Rogerama. The default shows them about 800 wide but if you click on them they go up to full size. When I can get around to it, I will be uploading the better ones from this SF series there. Meanwhile you can see what the resolution looks like on some of the others there if you like.
This camera takes panoramas that are nominally 24mm high and 70mm wide. It can also take standard 24 x 36mm shots--the motor wind automatically moves the film on the correct amount. It is like having a medium format panorama camera that uses 35mm film!

If you have a larger version online somewhere, can you let me know the link? I'd like to view this larger, to be able to better appreciate the details of the buildings. The single element I don't like in the photo is the tree on the right - it's too dark (no details on my monitor) and it seems much closer than everything else in the scene, so it doesn't quite fit in for me.
I have one technical question. Does this panoramic camera of yours require some special film format, or does it take standard 35mm film and only exposes a thin strip of each frame?

Looks great too, but the 640X640 limit of this gallery is NOTTTHH enuff indeed to make this format really work. A width of at least 850 would be nice. :-)) It's a pity and let me tell you as a passionated pano photograph I would not post my images with this limit. One simply cannot see how phantastic they REALLY are. Something for you own gallery. BTW 640 as a gallery limit is not enuff for many other subjects too which contain fine details. Perhaps portraits or more graphical stuff work this way, but all the rest ?
