The surface of that mountain is like tapestry work. So intricate and lively. I get the impression that there's some drastic weather changes at that time; like a storm is coming through. Also, this is one of those photographs that would lend itself well to Photoshop manipulations; specifically for the sky portion. You can replace it with an endless number of things, a different sky or maybe even a NY skyline.

Don't you just love the great and unpredictable lighting that results in those conditions?! I only would suggest that maybe the composition might be improved by not having it quite so evenly divided. I love all the different tones and textures you captured!
