This is how I shoot my B&W shots these days. No need for even C41-process (chromogenic) films when colour produces such good B&W. Unfortunately, for my taste, this does have the look I usually associate with over-sharpening. More "grainy" than film, and in a slightly different way, if you know what I mean... But I'm sure this was a deliberate choice on your part--I can't imagine you producing an image that was not EXACTLY as you wanted it to be (that was a sincere tribute, not a sarcastic remark, I assure you!).
