Gregory, Thanks for the info. I used to do it in the camera also with a Cokin filter then along came digital manipulating and I have never looked back. Dave

Very cool manipulation.... and don't forget that the photgraphy is pretty cool too. Nice demonstration of this technique. I, too remember when we had to do it in the camera... there was no other method except double exposure.

Actually the later is correct - I did take 2 pics and combine the 2 halves in Photoshop. Years ago I did this technique in the camera.

gregory, I remembered seeing self portrait #1 and I went to your portfolio to look again. I like this one better since you can see more of your face in both images of you. I was wondering if you cut out one of the images of youself then placed it in the room, or did you just take 2 pics with you on each side of the firepalce then just blend the 2 halves of the picture together? Dave
