It does look as if the focus is on lips rather than eyes. I like this trio of close portraits. It may be that your model would have relaxed a little more if given more time to get used to the camera?

You have a very impressive portfolio. The macro-shots from backlighted flowers are wonderfull! I've looked whit 'joy'.
These three pictures have something quit special, I think it's funny you call it joy. When I look at the warmth and happyness in the pictures I would give it a title more like happy or whatever. I do agree whit Hugo this one is very soft, it's does fitt whit the girl, but still now it looks like only the lips and tip of the nose are into focus.
Overall; well done!

Nice series, Marion! Number I and III are quite similar, but I think this one is slightly better than the previous two. It just may be a bit too soft, but still an excellent portrait. My compliments!
