The story of this shot is:
Near my office there is a parking lot that is next to the Lachine Canal where ducks love to hang out. Every now and then they start flying all over the place. This day the sky was blue without any clouds around. All of a sudden the ducks took off and I was able to catch this group (I cropped out 2 others that weren't completely in the frame). I also did a bit of sharpening.

I agre with Eldor, It looks almost too good to be true. The sharpness of the ducks is astonishing to the point of being unnatural.... I think it must be of the sky, it's too perfect, too even. No apparent gradient what so ever. But even if this was Photoshop induced, I like it. Great composition, and very vivid colours. Well done, John!
Cheers,
Hugo

Wow, that's sharp! Looks almost too good to be true. I like everything about this photo, and I think the composition is pretty darned perfect... something very hard to do on an action shot such as this.
