I'm really attracted to old abandoned stuff, new things don't have as much character. I like the history. I grew up in an old plantation house which is now a club house, the farm having been converted into a golf course. A snowy shot of it is also in my portfolio. This photo is of the boiler room of the hospital where I was born. The hospital was "replaced" by a modern one in the early 80s. Then an earthquake damaged this one to the point that it couldn't be used for anything else. It decays gently on a hill overlooking the city and the river. Thanks for your comment.
