Wow! Very powerful moment, and a great catch! I would really like to know what camera settings you used, and why you choose B&W (although that's more strait foreward.... The film was there...:) The sharpness and the use of the Depth of Field are excellent. Very dynamic shot, not only because of the pose of the bird, but strongly increased by the erratic patterns in the dunes behind it. The composition, with the wingtip off frame completes the atmosphere and feel of dynamism. Difficult shot, quite a grey day, and very well zoomed in (or cropped?) It looks windy too! Must have brought quite a few excellent shots..... I'll keep this one in my favourites,
