I agree with the light being a bit harsh, and the stem comming from the top being a bit strange (not disturbing or wrong, strange), but I amglad your scanner messed up the green background, becuase the blue is soooo great...

The light is a tad harsh, but I love the yellow against the blue. Nicely seen JT. When people take photos of flowers they forget about the background, you haven't.
Jeroen, to me this looked better in the thumbnail than in big. I like the concept of the backside of the daffodil over snow, but the result does not work for me. The light is very harsh for my taste and the composition with the flower stem coming out of the top seems arbitrary. Sorry, though just one opinion. Regards Jorg
