I hope that one day they'll bring back tail fins. This photograph is like an icon for that era. Very lavish, and I think it had a lot to do with post WWII prosperity. It was a happy time when a man could raise a family just on his own income; his wife could stay at home and raise the kids and take care of the house in the suburbs. Yeah, it's not just a car photograph, it's about America at that time. It stands for a whole generation of baby boomers, and of prosperity.
