Great capture - human interest 'boy and dog'

Although a bit overexposed the emotional appeal is present.

I have included a version, via PS, with a minor corection to accomodate the overexposure/lighting

Keep shooting for content and emotional; appeal..

Agree that the colors are washed out, but why the low ratings? The expression on the kid's face is great, it's like they're looking at each other while carrying on a conversation. Funny how the leash handle already looks too big in the boy's hand. Well done.
