Beautiful composition, I agree that the hill is a little distracting, but this still far surpasses any photo I have taken of the bridge.

Beautiful exposure. I'm not sure the composition is really highlighting the strongest areas of this view. Much of the city lights over the bridge are of the area of the city with the most uninteresting skyscape. The motion blur of the traffic is a little low in the frame and the opportunity to see the span lit with the long exposure is lost. Of course having shot the bridge several times I'm probably interjecting a bit of bias. I like this as it is original and not necessarily a recreation of a shot we've seen a million times. My recommendations would be to utilize the subject to your advantage. If you doing a long exposure make use of the traffic and span more. If interested in the architecture then move locations and get more of the span with the cityscape behind it. Nothing beats experimenting with location and composition.

the lighting on the bridge is great. What is that on the lower left? mayby a hill?It kind of detracts a little. This makes me want to see more of the bridge. Overall very nice. My best, John
