american eagle owl? i have never heard of that before... is it the same name for a "great horned owl?" this looks like a great horned owl. maybe they are the same. i would be feeling sorry for this creature if someone were to call it an eagle... although eagles are very intelligent, i think the owl has them beat in wisdom. hehe. anyway.. just joking around. this is a nice shot.
