red dot, marks the spot; black or brown or dark green or blue no prob with me; love the eyebrow as well; compositionally the dot alludes to a kandinsky experiment in painting where the traditional white page is your face and the dot your very first point either in a strong analytical placement (golden mean, balance, etc) or even in an arbitrary manner, with no relation whatsoever to the eye...but I like it. symbolically it is very strong.
