About	The Church of Our Saviour, Copenhagen, has been at the heart of Denmark?s religious life since 1696, when King Christian V provided Christianshavn, the busy harbour area of the city, with this magnificent church. The tower and the copper and gold spire with 400 steps (150 steps twisting around the outside), rising 90 metres above the city, is one of the architectural wonders of the world.
