Paolo, intanto grazie per il tuo commento al mio "studio d'ombre". Ho fatto un ampio excursus fra le tue foto e... ci vorrebbe davvero molto tempo per soffermarsi su tutte visto l'alto valore medio dei tuoi scatti.
Di questa foto hanno già detto tanto.
Mi limiterò a dirti perchè ho scelto questa fra tante ottime foto.
Intanto perchè nella sua essenzialità è poetica ed efficace distaccandosi dallo stereotipato notturno lunare.
Poi perchè mi riporta ad alcune inquadrature del "Settimo Sigillo" del mio amatissimo Bergman.
Qui c'è il colore ma è un monocromo che possiamo assimilare ad un b/n virato.
Non so se conosci il film. Nelle scene finali, in campo lungo, un declivio in controluce e la Morte che danza davanti a tutti...!
La tua foto mi mette i brividi quando tento d'immaginare dentro l'inquadratura questa scena.
Ancora complimenti per il tuo portfolio che tornerò senza dubbio a visitare a caccia di emozioni!

Really great light in this image!
Centered compositions can be a bit static but I think the choice can be justified because the light is more balanced this way. However I would consider cropping a bit from the left,right and bottom, so that the tree is a bit lower in the image, but still centered horizontally.

Hi Paolo, what a stunningly powerful shot, very mystical.... The witching hour. Very strong atmosphere, almost eerie..... I think an off-centered, more zoomed in composition could make the atmosphere even more powerful. I attached a version to show you what I mean. Great shot, though, very well captured, my friend!

Teunis fatica un po a trovare le foto a lui dedicate...forse anche per lui vale il discorso della stanchezza e del poco tempo...che mi fa arrivare in ritardo sui tuoi ultimi lavori..ma rimediamo....
due metà perfette quella sotto a dare vigore e risalto a quella in alto...il piccolo albero con lo spot luminoso dietro dimostra l'essenzialità del soggetto in fotografia..non importano le dimensioni e la posizione purchè il protagonista dell'immagine sia ben individuabile
complimenti per il risultato davvero notevole
