About	Hook Herrera, the sensation of last year's Blues Festival here in the deep south of Spain.I liked the back-lighting on his hair and his tattoes,tonal range is reduced but I like the effect.This year's Blues Festival starts in approx.3 hours and I'm going to load up with a Fuji 800asa colour film(Superia) and push it 2 or 3 stops hoping for some punchy-grainy shots

nice catch. i find it a challenge to get detail in the face and then elsewhere. i like delta 3200 shot at 1600 for this kind of shooting. try a prime lens for a larger aperture and go for a shallow depth of field. it's fun to play around with what's in focus. i don't care for grainy colour.
