Great capture of the light on this bird. We've got seagulls to burn up here but I never think to stop and study them. This one looks like he's coming in to eat out of your hand. And, I like the moon in the sky.

Excellent capture Robert, With my Nikon Coolpix 5000 and the lag I can view one and by time the photo is taken in San Fran, the gull would be in L.A. Si to me this is an even better shot! Great color and light. The moon in the back! Great!

Great mid air capture...good details, great stop action...is that the moon I see in the background or another gull?..My sunset from 30,000ft was from a quick bussiness trip to Rochester NY..just up for 1 night,back the next..with camera of course!...Regards, Bill
