About This was an experiment, i don't really like how it turned out, i basically held a piece of glass with my hand, and took the photo with my other one. ANy constructive comments would be great!

The idea is excellent, I like it very much.. perhaps you need a tripod or something to take better the picture. It's a little out of focus.
anyway, I like it!
Congrats, marta

I must admit that I have tried somthing similar, but with not so thin slices of orange. And try to get more macro shoot with more details on the orange. So I put glass on four glasses and put my Canon A80 on the table, There was some reflections left on the glass that I have to cut out. I think that your comprestion is too much.
I will post photo that I am not satisfied also but for example.
speed 1/2sec. F8, ISO 50

Regards,
Danijel

p.s. if you have any sugestions just shoot.

For an experiment this came out pretty good. You have a good eye for colour combinations. The trouble seems to be with focus. It might be easier to get a crisp image if someone else held the glass or were able to prop it on a steady surface. Very pretty shot overall.
