Keep trying John. You have some idea.
You can do some things very well at the moment.
You can hold a camera for one,and you can point a camera and don't understimate these things.
For example there is an extraordinarily low level of hand shake evidence for a photo taken at 1/60 of a second in these challenging emotional conditions.
You can point a camera. You have created a powerful pyramidal (that is, triangle shaped) form that both rises up into the frame, heaves momentously into the centre of it and stares most perpendicularly from where she is. Also in cropping from the lower part as you have you could have saved a life.

What a lovely model John! You're such a lucky guy!
And she really turns heads.

That guy in the reflection is really checking her out. And just can?t tell if she's giving him her sexy look or just thinking: "Tás'ólhar prá onde? Olha qu'eu tenho o meu Joãozinho!". :)

In this case I would definitely crop. This way she can fit in the frame and it looks that its taken from below. ehehe

ah ah ah u are priceless! I used to live (15 years) in a place similar to that of my last photo-now I am (unfortunately) in a slightly bigger place but not far away. i can always quickly get back there! it is marvellous.
