It was the day of the Aintree Grand National in the UK and everyone was having a flutter (all irish people bet on this race even if they never bet otherwise). Again, it was on the day of my friend's wedding and after the ceremony we all retired to the local to watch the race, have a celebratory guinness and a bit of a laugh before going to the reception in the hotel later. I took this photo because during the race was the only time the really great barstaff had a break while the wedding party and guests were there. They look content enough!!
