About On a morning walk we had spotted a leopard following a family of warthogs through a heavily wooded area. They were moving quickly and disappeared deep in the bush so we never saw the end result. My heart was really pounding as he walked past. We were pleased that he had spotted lunch before he had seen us.

Hi Roy,

great scene and composition, some people are waiting for captures like this for days, but you're really lucky man for sure. Good representing the atmosphere of the morning walk in the jungle, well cropped, etc...
Perfect as usually your all shots.

Another great leopard shot Roy, catching well their stealthy walk. The focus, DoF and lighting really make the animal stand out against the background.
I know what you mean it's rather different facing a predator on foot with no bars.
Regards,
Graham.

Very strong shot, Roy
You captured this wonderful animal in all its beauty and elegance of movement. I can imagine that your heart was pounding as he walked past but I bet it was a tremendous experience.
Although you had to act quickly and take the shot before he would disappear from your sight, the quality of this photo is superb. This kind of shots always amazes me.
Wonderful work, Roy.Thanks so much for sharing
Best regards - Emgy

What a shot, I bet your heart was pounding, I think I would have been to excited..
I do like the silhouetted foliage in the foreground and the soft in the background. I think it give good perception to the fact that this was taken in the wild.
Shot of a life time.
Congratulations.
Have a Great Day

Perfect!!!!
Outstanding movement catch Roy! It would be too much to request a picture taken with complete leopard (including it's tail) in this circumstances... It was not ZOO and He was on the hunt; Magnificent nature, great spoting, good back (and FORE)ground!
A shot to remember!

Hi Roy, are these the actual camera settings? Looking at the film, the scene and the shuttertime, I'm lead to believe it isn't.... I see a slight motion blur on the leopards front paw. But a great shot nonetheless. The framing by the foreground is excellent. The muscular power of this predator is perfectly captured, sneaking silently through the bushes. A very good shot, considering the limited time you had.... A typical do or die one, a pitty to have missed. My compliments, very good capture!

Cheers,

Hugo
