Magnificent colors and lighting. Very warm colors of the evening sun are the most beautiful there is. You have a very unique and creative portfolio. Your black and whites are fantastic. By all means, stop and tell me things that improve my images. This is what makes us all look for a better shot the next time!

This could be a golden I guess, but more likely a white lab :-) Still, the late light makes us all look golden...

HAHAHAHA I love the image of the "white speck" ... that made me laugh so hard! For what its worth, I think it is a very cute white speck! You captured a beautiful moment of light here... I love the dark stormy sky and warm golden light on the buildings. Truly, a well captured moment of time.

Magnificent Stefan. The cool sky works so well with the warm light on the village (as many have already said). The composition and the reflection on the water I think really make the image work. Congrats! ... John.

Such great weather conditions for a really dynamic shot. Perfect exposure - even the white building next to the church looks good in the sunlight. I honestly don't feel there's too much dark space on the left. I hadn't noticed it until I read the comment because the eye is drawn up to the lit wall and buildings above it. What I especially like about this photo is the reflection of the buildings in the water. I almost wish this panoramic was wider to the right so I could see more of it.
One small suggestion: cloning out the white speck on the grass where the shadow meets the light.

Hi Stephan!!!!! I'm back! (again)! A totaly different shot you have here! But, yet, an excelent one! If I didn't know your knoledge about photography I would say "lucky you!" But this isn't about luck... This is, indeed, a clear cityscape shot. Everything is as it should be... About the light... well... about this light... You put toghether the hunger (?) of the sky with the warmness of the city... This is a moment of pure magic in photography... Thank you for sharing! Hugs my friend!

Wonderfull city-scape. The light looks very unreal, but lately I've seen something simmelar; a storm coming up while the sun sets on the other side of the sky; stunning! Sorry for the lack of comments, I've been very bussy whit school lately, so to bad... Greets Tim.

Yes the crop did remove some reed that was a nice lead-in to the scene, but there is so much dead space in the lower left that I figured it was better this way. Somehow, panorama format suits this well too IMO. Thanks for your comments.

Very dramatic. I love how the town glows in the surrounding dark. I guess te crop from the bottom took some of the reed which framed the pond. I can't judge this; just asking. Cheers! Carlheinz

Hi Chris - this is the straight slide, no edits except for cleaning up some dust and cropping off a shaded area near the bottom. Thanks for stopping by.

Outstanding lighting, Stefan! It makes the village view jump out in front of the dark, threatening sky. Very well done, superb capture! The silence before the storm.....

Very nice shot, Stefan. Looks like you might have replaced the sky? If so, it works very well ~ if not, the original shot is even better than I thought!! Kind regards, Chris
