Hi Jon, A beautiful composition, and great tones. I like the purplish blue of the settling night. The twigs entering the composition from above, (at least that's what I think they are) are a bit distracting.
A very strong mood, very fitting to the title. I find the path ending in the lake a very strong metaphore to the message in this photo. Very well done, my fiend!
