She calls herself 'sunrise' but here we are along the Douro as the sun falls upon Porto... I have always thought of visiting the vineyards up river... the chartering one of the boats... and sailing down... one day one day, and nearly did a few weeks ago, while thinking over some wonderful sardinhas in Viana do Costelo... should I drive and take another day or so... but royal Wedding in Madrid came first...
and this delicious capture of yours... only bring regret for not following my first thoughts...thank you for sharing

Excellent picture of the most emblematic river of Portugal. This view, from Gaia,with Arrabida at the background and the rabelo boats,in the foreground ,is excellent.
