The great thing about the 20mm wide angle is you can include people in a shot without them realising your shooting them. It looks as If your shooting something across the road when in fact they are the subject. I love my 20mm :)

Yeah doo, dooo, doo, doo spooky. Panned means I was moving the camera parallel to, and at the same speed as the guy walking, to give a slight blur to the stuff in the background. Just messing about at the time but it really worked well.
