Thanks for these kind words , Roger ! The 10X15cm prints have a better impression of sharpness and I think even a 20X 30cm looks sharper than the image on the monitor . This is shot at almost full extended 300mm with 1/1500sec but I think a tripod would still improve it. This Tamron was a lucky design, also the lab tests proved it, simílar well done like the 19-35. The later following 28-300 XR series does not achieve this performance ! They messed it up trying to make it smaller and lighter.

Bertram! This is really excellent. Why don't people FLOCK to see it and FLOOD you with comments? I wish I had taken this. Beautiful... right down to the details of every feather and those true blue eyes. That Tamron lens is really very impressive.
