Hi David,
I like it "Maith an Fear" I mean! Good to get a bit of irish into the usefilm mix: Táim ag iarracht feabhas a chur are mo chuid "photography" (and trying to improve my irish too!!!)

Hi Hugo,
thanks for that information. I'm pretty new to all this stuff and scanned the photo in rather than scanning in the negative.
Thanks also for the complement regarding the photo. It's a privilege to get nice comments from great photographers.

Overexposition, that's why! That's fun, it's Ireland, but it almost looks like Africa! Tha's a very nice pic, the composition is good, and the satured colours give it an extra punch. I would have kept the tree on theleft completetly out, and I would have included the the trees on the right. As far as its being "out of focus", it's probably due either to a bad scan or to the excessive compression ratio of the jpg; dimension an image this size, you can safely keep the jpg quality as high as possible. Hi Daithí, The out of focusness might also be accredited to the scan. It is kind of distracting to the atmosphere. Don't think Photoshop could correct this without cnverting it to digital art. I like the vivid tones, and the composition, tough.
