Just a little note from my daughter and I. We think that a backdrop that matched her eye colour would bring out her eye colour a lot more. Also, if her eye(s) were looking at us, it would grab our attention more.
Well ... I for one like the DOF in this image. Even with a larger DOF this would still be a nice picture, but am I mistaken in thinking that this comes very close to how the human eye functions? Composition and expression are great in my opinion.
Nathan - Love the angle and colour on this one! What I think it needs is a LITTLE more depth of field. I think all of her face needs to be in focus - Depth of Field extends 1/3 in front of and 2/3 behind the plane of focus, so remember that and maybe focus a LITTLE further away. With the natural light, can you set a smaller aperture?
Anyway, her eye is making me look again and again. Very good!
