Excellent dental work she has! I think you got what you were after here--it's an offbeat portrait of someone who obviously isn't afraid to throw some personality at the camera. None of the usual portrait feedback applies, so I can't say you should add hairlight or get her hair to cover the ear. It might help to crop right in and make the face the entire shot--almost half the image area is blue background.
