First I want to say that I have been an admirer of your work since I joined Use Film. You really have produced some incredible photographs!
This picture is compositionally, very interesting. The child and the cat form almost a yin-yang symbol with the fluid harmony of the symmetry between them. Their poses are very similar. Hands(paws), and feet showing. Faces half hidden. Their postures reflect peace, relaxation, trust. It's very beautiful!
The only suggestion I might offer is to reduce the contrast on the cat because the texture of her fur is somewhat lost in the shadow.
