About	This is not the only farm in the San Francisco Bay area, but it is one of the few with horses. I've passed it many times, but only took the opportunity to photograph these wonderful animals when I was forced to stop by an out-of-air tire. Sometimes life's nuisances work out well. Mister Ken

Thank you for the comments Christine and Debra. The horses are on the other side of a fence and one came running to greet me as I approached the fence. The others soon followed. The farm is off Interstate 80 north of San Francisco near the town of Hercules. Regards, Mister Ken

the song..who let the dogs out...went wild in my head as I looked at this.... should be who left the gate open...this is great!!!! A horse ranch in San Francisco is a rare thing... not sure where you found this..

The movement caught is wonderful. The horses appear as graceful as they really are. The soft delicate grass only enhances that. The background trees are lush and green however you didn't even need them in the picture as the horses take center stage.
