Personally I like what you got. Maybe it's not what you wanted. But very natural. I like your more then suggested ones. Bright cloths actually removed shades from his face. Which is awesome natural effect. Sticks at right are natural. Nothing whong with them in image.

This is a good portrait Amna. Here the problem for the camera is that the SO bright clothes that shining a lot of lighting makes the exposure less and so the face looks little dark but this is something that IS NOT BAD! Not at all. The shadows at the back is not something bad too. Just the flash. I don't remember the numbers of the flsh sychronice of 300D. I good idea for these photos with a so bright part like his clothes is to have a Cokin filter like the grey NOT at your lens BUT hold it frond to the flash! Not orange or generaly coloured filter because the flash will add this color to his clothes or generaly to the photo. The last one is you can do is not to use th flash. Try with natural lighting. Now about these brunches (also not something bad) except the different cropping, closer to his face, you can also use PS or other program. The tool is the CLONE that you can remove these easily because of the white background of the objects that you want to remove. Last one little bit sharpness BUT VERY LITTLE! Not strong because the dark areas could have some noise if the sharpness added. All these could make the photo better however I don't agree with the title. Small details I think. The photo is very good and even with a strong critique it takes 6!

I will try to do something and e-mail the image directly to you. Perhaps under enlargement I can find the stick you deplore. For the time being, I like the capture very much!

What I would attempt to do is following. In PS enlarge over maximum size, take the eye dropper and go part by small part even 3 or 4 pixels large maximum test the color and correct with pixel size 2 or max 3 and so. It is elaborate but the only way I know. Regards, Rob.

Hi Amna, your portrait is great. I like what Anna did - her crop works very good, I think (just little bit to dark still). Biliana's variant, for me, better with white, but sharpness not enough. I think, you can do something betwen them. Still, your shot is beautiful. Regards, lena

Great portrait dear Amna, but dark at the left part, I think you can improve the photograph in Black and white and would be more effective even in B&W. otherwise, great portrait ;-) Kiss, Biliana Here is something that I manage to do but still...

I like it as it is, and the sharpness concentrated on the face is just perfect, beautiful expression, and lovely composition,(I had an agreement with him if Amna came to shot ,do not agree),lol,7/7Saeed
