very good attempt here Phil...if you can get the kiss again try it with lighting diagram # 2 for a dramatic look or # 1 for a cleaner light look.....those diagrams are in my portfolio section if you like send me and e mail and i will send them to you......Artie@artiephotography.com

answer first Yes you have the stuff between the ears... just the thought of this simple yet elegant image shows that You ought to 'borrow' it again to do some more images based on this ... great work.....

Since I started this studio thing, I've always wanted to take a pic of this hershey kiss. Don't ask me why, just thought it might be a nice shot. I do have more plans for this little fellow.
Anyway, I just layed the little guy down on my white seamless paper on the floor. I'm going to have to build something to get work like this up higher. I would lay down look, then stand up, move lights around, lay back down, well you get the picture.... I used 2 strobes. One on the left almost directly over it, and one to the right high up as well, but at an angle. The shadows tell all.
