Was once told by one of Britains leading wildlife photographers that a picture of an owl should never have it looking directly at the camera as people find it very hard to look at. The detail and closeness you have attained here,proves his point as i find myself only wanting to look at it a few seconds before averting my gaze. You must be superhuman if as suggested you go round staring these creatures down
