Cool! Very good shot, mesmerised by the television, I presume? That spot is weird. Did you use a lens hood? Might be a refraction of a lightsource out of view, or a speck / drop on the lens. Did you look through the viewfinder? It is sometimes possible, that if you don't, and have a bright light behind the camera, the light falls on the film through the viewfinder.
Very good shot, though, even despite of the light spot. Very well captured. I don't think the crops work, it narrows the composition too much. You might try it with PS; some healing brush or the burn tool might do the job.
