oh Beth, how often i want to capture the flavor of the Costa Rican streets and can never do it. But you have depicted Columbia here with such love and tenderness..you highlight the beauty of the streets, not the squalor which is always too easy to do. The light, being either a very dreary mountain day or just about dusk somewhere else is lonely and forsaken. The drops are beautiful, adding uniquenss to this image and the stamp of the photographer's individuality. The sky in the background seems a bit too bright. It was a difficult capture, i'm sure but i do wish there was just the merest bit of detail in that area. Overall a very successful image. kind regards to you: kat~
