Thanks Dan, I know you have many excellent shots such as these. There is something compelling about drop reflection macros. I did crop out many of the existing drops. Thanks again.

thanks, Alan..now here?s something else to feel good about. When i came into the office today, i turned on my computer and my 6 yr. old 15?inch monitor heaved a last sigh, split into something resembling one of my latest graphic images (thanks for YOUR nice comments as well!!) and died. i bought a new 17 incher and guess what? i made YOUR image the wallpaper. i do change wallpaper regularly but yours christened this bright new screen and it looks like the breath of spring itself. So, you?re very welcome and thanks for the loan of your image! kat-

there is nothing i do not like about this image. It's got realism and abstraction, it's got soft and it's got sharp. It's got strong color and pastel. It's got composition up the wazoo. And best of all, it has heart. Lots of heart. Each drop is a still life in miniature, making me think of those old fashioned painted brooches our great grandmothers wore, or an old fashioned paper weight. And yet, it is purely a natural phenomenon captured by man and machine. It's so beautiful, Allan! regards: kat~

Alan, that looks amazing again. I have to admit your previous picture inspired me to try something like that, but it didn't work.

How do you get the drops to look like that? Is it just water? I can't get the same density and so the drops are flat and don't reflect the background as it should.

Great job. Keep it up.

Regards.
