Again, coming back from work in a foreign city... all seemed so grey. Everyday passing the same ugly tunnel.. I wanted a "blue" photograph of the tunnel... composition was needing something for the right side so I decided to include people passing by (what better thing could I include)... I decided to use the slow shutter to just create a ghost passing by... a metaphor of how I (we?) feel in these big cities... we're sometimes just ghosts of ourselves... Camera used was full of digital noise (that camera has auto-setting for ISO so I have to live with that)... I used Neat Image to clean ISO noise...
I like the green and blue light here. It's quality seems to border between ordinary (as commonly found in cities at night) and mysterious (as if some strange phenomenon had just happened there, or was about to happen).
I'm not quite convinced by the slow shutter speed. In principle, I think it could work, but the strong purple colours of the lady's top and especially the fact that she's looking at the camera make me wish she was more clearly defined.
excellent! there is an antithesis also in the mood that you describe; she wears pink; the blue and green tones are welcoming to my eye; the overal though gives this everyday megapolis alienation.
